Thanks for the quick response!

- The Standings WebPart displays nothing

- The Admin and Matches WebPart displays only the empty grid with the tag "fist round"  -> but no matches.

May 14, 2012 at 3:25 PM

The Standings web part display only user that saved there matches via the Matches web part.

About the Admin and Matches, I will look at this asap. A new release will be avalible this week.

Any news on this issue?

If you would like to test a new build to see if the issue is fixed, I would like to help out!

May 25, 2012 at 10:59 AM

i have found a solution!

It works only on english team sites!

May 25, 2012 at 12:56 PM

Thanks for the feedback DavidPietschik! Now that the problem is known, I will try to make it work also on non-english sites.

May 29, 2012 at 11:07 AM

Hi Alon,

should it work with a non english sharepoint team side with the new release?

May 29, 2012 at 11:36 AM

Hi Daniel,

You can try the new version. I diddn't found anything related to this issue (also I cannot test it, I have an english installation with a language pack) In the new release there are two new buttons (show lists\hide lists) in the Admin web part. you can try to use the to fill in the missing data.

When you click "Show lists" you should see 3 sharepoint lists:

  • Euro 2012 Standings
  • HaviviMatches
  • HaviviUserMatches

let me know,

Hi Alon,

I just tried v1.1 on a german Teamsite and it does not work.

When I display the Admin-Webpart and click "Show lists" it reloads the page but nothing changes. The grids are still empty. Please let me know if I can help you to investigate further on this problem.

I just tried v1.1 on a Dutch Teamsite in Sharepoint Foundation 2010, and here is the list with matches also not filled. So there is no data in the lists. Please let me know when a new version is available, then I test it on a Dutch environment. Thanks in advance..

Hi Alon,

I don't hve this lists:

  • Euro 2012 Standings
  • HaviviMatches
  • HaviviUserMatches

Maybe this is the problem. Could you export the lists, so I can import them to see if its working?

pwijnbergen, MartiniMoe,  Thanks for the feedback. I will let you know whene a new version is avalible for test.

Bananeonline, You can try to import the lists from here:!2129&id=3566B712B1377850%212129

I experienced the same troubles in our german environment too. I reported some further informations here

May 29, 2012 at 12:55 PM

Maybe I found the Problem:

The lists are created here: http://servername/lists/....
and the feature is on Teamside http://servername/em2012/lists/....

Also: The list HiviviMatches is empty. That's why there is nothing to see :-)

May 30, 2012 at 8:59 PM

Yes, the lists are created in the root web. Just checked the code - should be ok.

The real problem on non english installations is the datetime conversion you used ("String was not recognized as a valid DateTime" exception).
To fix that you can use zulu / utc times ( When you check the xml file you provided a few posts above you'll see, that Sharepoint uses utc times, too.

So instead of

item["MatcheDate"] = DateTime.ParseExact("2012-06-08 16:00 PM""yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm tt"null)

item["MatcheDate"] = DateTime.Parse("2012-06-08T16:00:00Z")
or just use a correct formatprovider as third argument.

The utc time will be automatically converted to the local timezone. So the above example would be converted in the german timezone to 6pm.

It would be great if you could localize your solution. I can help you with a german translation if you want. Once translated it would be a great feature to my intranet ;)

Thanks a lot for the fix. I will change it in the next release (this weekend)... and yes I will localize the solution :)...

havivi, great job. A new release with multi language support (date) and a large number of users would be real great. Thanks for your work in advance!

when I install version 1.4 the labels-list is filled, but the other (matches etc) lists are still empty.. Do you have any solution for this? thnx in advance..

Jun 4, 2012 at 9:41 AM

Hi pwijnbergen,

You can place the Admin web part on your page. Click on Show Lists --> Go to HaviviMatches list (on the root site collection)

Modify the view, show these columns:  Disabled   TeamA   TeamB   FlagA   FlagB   MatcheDate

Change to Grid view

Add these data:!2135

Thnx for the quick reply! I still have one problem, the .iqy file cannot connect with the datasource.. (can't open in excel) so it can't be imported. Any suggestions? or do you have an excel datasheet?
